Limits Cam Phasing. COMP Cams Phaser Limiters physically limit maximum cam phasing to 25 crank degrees (12.5 cam degrees) to allow independent control over intake and exhaust centerlines and eliminate piston to valve clearance issues that can occur when installing larger aftermarket camshafts in the Coyote 5.0 engine.

Eliminates Need For Custom Pistons. This set of four separate phaser limiters, with the proper tuning software, allow the OEM computer to independently control intake and exhaust centerlines to take full advantage of the benefits of Variable Valve Timing (VVT) when using aggressive aftermarket camshafts without the need to install custom pistons to eliminate valve clearance issues.

Application. The Comp Cams Phaser Limiter Kit is specifically designed for use on 2011 to 2014 4 valve 5.0L powered Coyote Mustangs running aftermarket Comp Cams.
