Strip and Street. Give your 2005-2014 Mustang's brakes a little more bite with a Baer SS4 Plus Deep Stage Drag Race Front Big Brake Kit that includes Fire Red Calipers. The SS4+ Deep Stage system is the first drag race system designed specifically for heavy, but fast cars that might also see use on the street.

Four Piston S4 Calipers. Baer's S4, small but powerful, 4-Piston calipers were engineered with opposing, hard anodized aluminum pistons to provide clamping force on both sides of the rotor at the same time for superior braking force. The caliper is machined from cast aluminum to ensure outstanding rigidity and light weight. The caliper is then completed in a durable firered powder coated finish to provide superior good looks and excellent corrosion resistance.

Drilled and Slotted Rotors. Baer's 11-inch drilled and slotted rotors are engineered to clean the brake pad surface, wipe away water, and debris to prevent gas build-up that forms between the pad and the disc to improve the initial bite of the brake pads. Manufactured 100% in the USA, these Rotors feature a 2-piece construction, with a separate hat and rotor connected by stainless NAS (National Aerospace Standard) bolts. The rotors are manufactured from mill-balanced cast steel, carefully finished to prevent vibration and noise, with a protective coating of zinc for rust prevention. The hats are machined from 6061 T-6 Billet aluminum with a black anodized finish, lowering the overall rotor weight and adding corrosion resistance.

Drag Race Brake Pads. The included DR1 / HB100 style, drag race brake pads are a high friction compound best suited for race use and may produce higher noise and dust levels. Please note that these Drag Race Pads are not suited for street use. Street compound pads are available separately.

Upgrade. Baer designed their SS4 Plus Deep Stage Drag Race Front Big Brake Kit to be a direct fit replacement upgrade for your S197 Mustang's factory caliper and rotors. Using basic hand tools, this Big Brake Kit can be install in about 3-4 hours with no modifications required. Will not work with factory brake hoses, requires Baer front hose kit p/n 6800082 - sold separately.
